Fracture
A fracture in the midfoot involves a break in one of the bones located in the middle of the foot, usually caused by trauma or repetitive stress. Symptoms include pain, swelling, and difficulty walking, and there may be visible deformity if the bones are displaced. Midfoot fractures can be serious and may lead to long-term issues if not treated properly. Treatment options vary depending on the severity of the fracture, from immobilization in a cast to surgical intervention to realign and stabilizethe bones.
