Pediatric Flatfoot
Pediatric flatfoot is a common condition in children where the arch of the foot does not develop properly, causing the entire foot to touch the ground when standing. While many children outgrow the condition, some may continue to experience flatfoot into adolescence and adulthood. Pediatric flatfoot can cause pain, fatigue, and instability, especially during physical activities. In cases where the condition causes significant discomfort or affects mobility, treatment may include supportive footwear, physical therapy, or, in more severe cases, corrective surgery to realign the foot.
